Leanne L. McDonald, DMD, MAGD
Dr. Leanne McDonald, a native of Butler, received her dental degree from the University of Alabama School of Dentistry in 1996. Dr. McDonald is an active member of the First Baptist Church of Butler, where she sings in the adult choir. She is a generous supporter of local schools and sports events, Girl and Boy Scouts troops, and the Choctaw County Public Library. Always active, she enjoys walking, biking, gardening and her morning run with her dental Team members. Dr. McDonald also enjoys attending Alabama football games, trips to the Gulf Coast and spending time with her family.
In addition to her personal and civic interests, Dr. McDonald continually furthers her professional knowledge and clinical skills through her memberships in the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, American Academy of Facial Esthetics, Alabama Sixth District Dental Society, the Meridian Area Dental Society, and the American Dental Association. She is proud to be one of twenty-five Alabama Alumni of the Pankey Institute, a world-renowned continuing education dental facility. Dr. McDonald was awarded Mastership in the Academy of General Dentistry in 2012, a globally recognized professional achievement.
Dr. McDonald strongly believes the key to mastering the ever-changing world of dentistry is through continuing education, and completes over 100 hours of clinical coursework each year. Ongoing education is a team effort; Dr. McDonald's clinical and administrative staff play an integral role in learning and implementing new technology and techniques. In 2006, Dr. McDonald's Smile Team and her newly renovated facility were featured in Patterson Today Magazine. |
