We are proud to feature CEREC® in our practice. This revolutionary 3D computer-aided design and manufacturing technology offers us the ability to create and deliver natural-looking ceramic restorations in the comfort of our office. It will change the way you think about dental crowns and inlays!

How it Works
First we prepare and shape the damaged tooth for your restoration. We then capture an optical "impression" by applying a thin layer of reflective powder to the tooth surface and use a special camera to take a picture of the preparation. This optical image, combined with CAD/CAM technology, helps us build your custom restoration - you can actually observe the design process on the computer screen as we work.

After Dr. McDonald completes the design details, a high-speed diamond and disk system mills the restoration out of a solid block of ceramic material. We then bond your newly crafted restoration using adhesive dentistry techniques.
